ORIGINS
Flatrock Surf was born on the shores of Sydney in 2017 when local surfers grew frustrated with the limitations of mainstream wetsuits. The constant chafing around the neck, restricted mobility while paddling, and overall discomfort became barriers to fully enjoying their time in the water.
Determined to create something better, a wetsuit design was reimagined from the ground up, focusing on what matters most: comfort, performance, and sustainability.
Born from the storm, our name pays homage to the iconic Flatrocks at North Bondi — like the surfers who chase powerful weather systems for perfect waves, we embrace challenge and transformation to create surfing gear that's always leading in comfort, performance and sustainability.
